The short version

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are actually useful to people. It sets a cookie only if you accept the notice. Decline it, or ignore it, and no analytics cookie is stored.

There is no advertising network, no session recording, and no profiling on any page. We do not sell or share your data. If you email us, we hold that email in order to reply to it.

Analytics and cookies

We run Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager, configured with Google Consent Mode. Analytics storage is denied by default, so nothing is written to your browser until you press Accept. Press Decline and it stays denied.

If you do accept, Google Analytics records which pages you viewed, how you arrived (the referring site or campaign), an approximate city-level location derived from your IP address, and basic device and browser information. It stores a randomly generated identifier in a cookie so that repeat visits from the same browser count as one person rather than several. We do not send it your name, your email address, or anything else that identifies you personally, and it does not retain your full IP address.

Google processes this data as our provider, under Google's own privacy policy. If you change your mind after accepting, clear this site's cookies and site data in your browser, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

What else the site loads

Pages are served from Vercel, which processes standard server request logs (including IP address) to deliver the site and defend it from abuse. We do not use those logs to profile visitors.

The systems panel on the homepage reads public production endpoints on automate.precipitate.ai and app.precipitate.ai. That request is made by our server, not your browser, so no data about you is sent to them.

If you contact us

Email sent to inquiries@precipitate.ai is received and stored in our mailbox so that we can reply. We do not add you to a marketing list, we do not sell or share the address, and you can ask us to delete the correspondence at any time by replying and saying so.

Client work

When we build and operate systems for a client, any data those systems touch belongs to that client and is governed by our agreement with them, not by this policy. We do not use client data to train models or for any purpose outside the engagement.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to inquiries@precipitate.ai and we will action it.

Changes

If this site starts collecting anything beyond what is described above, this page changes before that happens, not after.
